10/28/2009: The Jacksonville Axemen in partnership with the American National Rugby League (AMNLR) and the Jamaican Rugby League Association (JRLA), are excited and proud to announce that a full international game between the two nations will take place at the University of North Florida on Saturday, November 14th. 09/02/2009: Press Release: New York, NY, September 2, 2009 - Spike TV will be the exclusive American television home to the 2009 National Rugby League playoffs and championship game, it was announced today by Brian J. Diamond, senior vice president, sports & specials, Spike TV. The network will telecast three weekly NRL playoff contests beginning Friday, September 11, culminating with the Grand Final on Sunday, October 4. All NRL games will emanate from Australia and will air on Spike TV same day-tape.

08/28/2009: The New York Knights have capped off a fantastic season to win the AMNRL Cup Final XII in convincing fashion by defeating the Jacksonville Axemen by 32 - 12. It was an entertaining match played before a great crowd at Pier 40 in Manhattan, with fans able to appreciate the rising standard of play in American Rugby League. Sean Taylor, the eighteen year old rookie from New York was named man of the match, with Knights fullback Luke Hume deservedly taking out the AMNRL 2009 MVP.

11/29/2008: Several Northern Raiders members are preparing for participation in the 50th Annual New York 7s - Nov 29, 2008: The New York 7s Tournamant is the largest and longest running sevens tournament in the United States. The tournament has been held on the Saturday following Thanksgiving since 1959 and traditionally marks the end of the Fall rugby season in the New York Metropolitan area.

10/18/2008: Craig Bellamy and his coaching staff visited the New York Knights on Saturday October 18, 2008 at 7:00 PM at The Australian. Craig Bellamy is the Melbourne Storm Head Coach, the most successful NRL team in the last 3 years (3 consecutive Grand Final, 1 NRL title and 3 successive Minor Premiership!) and the current New South Wales-State of Origin Head Coach. The event was a fantastic opportunity for the New York Knights to learn from such a high profile figure of the Rugby League world what kind of approach can lead to success on the field.

08/23/2008: Championship Match - Fort Dix, NJ: A new American National Rugby League champion has been crowned and it is the New Haven Warriors. The club, which is just three years old, beat the league's powerhouse team Aston Bulls 50-18 in Saturday's Grand Final at the Fort Dix military base in New Jersey.
